Bu çalışmada 1530 ve 1591 tarihli Tapu Tahrir Defterleri kullanılarak Kelkit Kazası şahıs isimleri değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çerçevede 1530 yılında toplam oğul neslinde 1080, baba neslinde ise 606 kişinin verisi incelenmiş ve oğul neslinde 329, baba neslinde ise 219 isim tespit edilmiştir. 1591 yılında oğul neslinde 2484, baba neslinde 1556 kişi bulunmaktadır. Oğul neslinde 382 isim mevcut iken baba neslindeki isim sayısı 308’dir. İki deftere göre toplam kişi adedi oğul neslinde 3564, baba neslinde 2162’dir. Bunlara ait toplam 726 aded isim bulunmaktadır. Bu isimler, 1530 ve 1591 tarihlerindeki verileri mukayese edilerek köken, kullanım yüzdeliği, isim çeşitliliği vb. bakımlardan incelenmiştir.

In this study, Tahrir Registers dated 1530 and 1591 were used and the names of person in Kelkit were evaluated. In this frame, in 1530, in total in generation of son the data of 1080 people an in generation of father the data of 606 people were examined an in generation of son 329 name and in generation of father 219 name were determined. There were 2484 people in generation of son in 1591 and 1556 people in generation of father. There were 382 names in generation of son, but there were 308 names in generation of father.According to these two Tahrir Registers, the number of people in total there were 3564 in generation of son and 2162 in generation of father. There were 726 names belongs them. These names were examined according to using percentage, variation of the names and origin and also the data of them in 1530 and 1591 were compared.
