ORTAÖĞRETİM VE YÜKSEKÖĞRETİM ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN İNTERNET KULLANIMINA YÖNELİK TUTUMLARININ ÇEŞİTLİ DEĞİŞKENLERE GÖRE INCELENMESİ

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaöğretim ve yükseköğretimde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin internet kullanımına yönelik tutumlarını ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma 2010-2011 eğitim ve öğretim yılında Siirt Üniversitesi eğitim fakültesi İlköğretim Sınıf öğretmenliği programı ile Bilgisayar ve öğretim teknolojileri eğitimi bölümünde öğrenim gören 300 yükseköğretim öğrencisi ve siirt il merkezde bulunan ortaöğretim kurumunda öğrenim gören 365 öğrenci olmak üzere tplam 665 öğrencinin katılımıyla gerçekleşmiştir. Çalışmanın verilerinin toplanmasında Tavşancıl ve Keser (2005) tarafından geliştirilen "İnternet Kullanımına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, ortaöğretim ve yükseköğretim öğrencilerinin internet kullanımına yönelik tutumlarının olumlu olduğu ayrıca yükseköğretim ile ortaöğretim öğrencileri arasında internet kullanımına yönelik tutumları arasında bazı anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

EXAMINING THE SECONDARY AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ ATTITUDES TOWARDS INTERNET USE ACCORDING TO DIFFERENT VARIABLES

The Purpose of this study is to determine the attitudes of the college and high students, who studied in the department of Primary Teacher Education and department of Computer and Instruction Technlogy Education, towards internet use in the aspect of different variabes. This study involved 665 students, who studied in the department of primary teacher education and department of computer and instruction technlogy education in Siirt University during 2010-2011 academic year. In the study was used to "Attitudes towards the Internet Use" developed by Tavşancıl and Keser (2005) with the aim of collection of data of the research fr which scanning methd was employed. At the end of the study, it was determined that attitudes towards internet use of college and high school students are positive. Moreover there is a meaningful difference between the attitudes towards internet use of secondary and high school students.
