Zekai Dede`nin ve makam anlayışının, makam eğitimine yönelik çalışmalara etkilerini belirleyebilmek amacıyla yapılan bu araştırmada, nitel araştırma modelinde durum saptamaya yönelik olarak doküman incelemesi/doküman analizi ve görüşme yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada incelemeler sonucunda elde edilen bulgular kuramsal çerçeve içerisinde yorumlanarak Zekai Dede`nin makam anlayışı ortaya çıkartılmıştır. Ortaya çıkan bilgiler doğrultusunda nazarı bilgilerin eksik ve yanlış yönlerini tamamlaması açısından Zekai Dede`nin bestelerinin önemli bir kaynak teşkil ettiği görülmüştür.

In this research that was performed to determine the effects of Zekai Dede and his maqam understanding on maqam education, document analysis and inter view methods have been used as conforming to situation fixation in qualitative research model. Maqam understanding of Zekai Dede has been set forth through the theoretical interpretation of the data obtained as the result of the analyses. It was seen that Zekai Dede`s works constitute an important resource in order to complete the missing or inaccurate parts of the theoretical knowledge.
