Tanımlayıcı nitelikte olan bu çalışmanın amacı; öğrencilerin Benlik Saygısı ve Öz-Etkililik Yeterlik (ÖEY) düzeylerini, bunlara etki eden faktörleri ve aralarındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Benlik saygısının öz etkililik yeterlilik düzeyini etkilediği bulunmuştur. Öğrencilere ve ailelere benlik saygısını gelişimini ve artırıcı faktörleri gösteren broşürlerin dağıtılması ve eğitimin verilmesi öz etkililik yeterlilik düzeyini artıracaktır.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF-EFFICACY-SUFFICIENCY AND SELF-ESTEEM OF THE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

The purpose of this study which is descriptive is to determine the students’ level of self-efficacy-sufficiency (SES), the differences between the departments and the effects of these results on self-esteem. It was found that self esteem affects on level of SES. That the brochures which introduce development of self esteem are distributed to the students and their families will increase the SES level.
