Bu araştırmada, sosyal bilgiler dersinde sınıfta "katılımcı davranış ölçeğinin" geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, 2008-2009 eğitim-öğretim yılında Ankara ilindeki 49 ilköğretim okulu ikinci kademede görev yapan 289 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni ile yürütülmüştür. Tarama yönteminin kullanıldığı araştırmada, yapılan faktör analizi sonucunda, toplam varyansın %58.34`ünü açıklayan üç alt faktörlü 26 maddelik ölçek elde edilmiştir. Testin iç tutarlılık güvenirliliği için Cronbach alpha değeri 0.95 bulunmuştur. Bu ölçekle, ilköğretim ikinci kademe sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin sınıfta katılımcı davranışlarının geçerli ve güvenilir olarak ölçülebileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, it was aimed at developing the behavior scale of participant behaviour in the class during social studies lesson. The study was carried out with 289 social studies teachers working at the secondary stage in 49 elementary schools in Ankara Province in 2008-2009 academic year. In the study in which survey method was used, as a result of the factor analysis carried out, a scale of 26 items comprising of three sub-factors explaining 58.34% of total variance was obtained. Cronbach alpha value for internal consistency reliability was found as 0.95. In this scale, it was concluded that the behaviors of participant behaviour in the class of the elementary school social studies teachers at the secondary stage could be measured in a valid and reliable way.
