AKILLI TAHTA UYGULAMALARI KONUSUNDA ÝLKÖÐRETÝM II. KADEME ÖÐRENCÝLERÝNÝN GÖRÜÞLERÝ

Geçen on yýl içinde akýllý tahtalar, özellikle ilköðretim okullarýnda popüler bir öðrenme ve öðretme aracý oldular. Akýllý tahtalarýn Türkiye'deki resmi ve özel ilköðretim okullarýnda kullanýmýnýn artmasý da dikkat çekicidir. Bu çalýþmanýn amacý, akýllý tahta uygulamalarý konusunda ilköðretim okulu öðrencilerinin görüþlerini belirlemektir. Araþtýrmaya esas veriler Beeland (2002) tarafýndan geliþtirilen ölçme aracý yoluyla elde edilmiþtir. Araþtýrmanýn örneklemini Malatya'da resmi ilköðretim okullarýndan seçkisiz yolla belirlenen 277 öðrenci oluþturmuþtur. Anket sonuçlarýna göre akýllý tahtalar öðrencilerin ilgisini çekmekte ve öðrenmeyi kolaylaþtýrmaktadýr. Öðrenciler akýllý tahtalarý kullanmaktan ve akýllý tahtalarla öðrenmekten keyif almakta, öðretim teknolojilerinin yeni bilgiler edinmede ve iyi bir iþ sahibi olmada yardýmcý olacaðýný düþünmektedir. Ayrýca öðrencilerin akýllý tahta kullanmada sorun yaþamadýklarý sonucuna ulaþýlmýþtýr.

SECONDARY PART OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS STUDENTS` VIEWS TOWARD SMART BOARD PRACTICES

Over the last decade, smart boards (interactive white boards) have become popular teaching and learning tools, especially in elementary school classrooms. The increasing use of smart boards in public and private schools in Turkey is also striking. The aim of this study is to determine elementary school studentsâ€â„¢ views toward the use of smart boards in classrooms. Data are collected through a questionnaire created by Beeland (2002). Sample of the research is composed of 277 elementary school students in public schools in Malatya. Questionnaire results revealed that smart boards increase studentsâ€â„¢ interest and facilitate learning. Students take pleasure in using and learning with smartboards, they think that learning technology helps them to learn new things and get a good job. It is also found that students have no difficulty in using smartboards.
