Bu çalışmada, çoktan seçmeli testlerde aynı soruların(maddelerin) farklı sıralarda öğrencilere sorulmasının maddelerin güçlükleri ve madde ayırt edicilik güçlerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu maksatla, araştırmada aynı 50 sorunun farklı sırada sorulmasıyla oluşan A ve B formu olarak iki test formu oluşturulmuştur. Bu test formları Uludağ Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi birinci sınıf öğrencilerine uygulanmış-tır. Soruların soruluş sırasının farklı olması 50 sorudan 11 tanesinde madde güçlüklerinin ve 3 tanesinde ise madde ayırt edicilik güçlerinin anlamlı olarak farklı olmasına neden olmuştur. Bu çalışmanın bulgula-rına göre, soruluş sırasından dolayı madde güçlükleri anlamlı olarak değişen 11 maddenin 10’unda maddelerin soruluş sırasının daha önce ol-ması maddeyi doğru cevaplayanların oranının daha yüksek olmasına neden oldu. Soruların farklı sıralarda sorulmasının madde güçlüklerini, madde ayırıcılık gücüne kıyasla daha fazla etkilediği görülmüştür

In this study, it was investigated the impact of asking same ques-tions in different orders on item difficulties and item discrimination powers in multiple choice tests. For the purpose of this study, two test forms (Form A and Form B) were created. Each of the two test forms contained the same 50 multiple choice items in different orders. These test forms were applied to freshmen students in Faculty of Edu-cation of Uludag University. Formatting tests in different orders caused 11 (out of 50) significant differences on item difficulties and 3 (out of 50) significant differences on item discrimination powers. According to this studies findings, when item order was earlier the proportion of getting right answers was higher for the 10 out of 11 items, which were significantly different on item difficulty levels due to order differences. The effect of item orders on item difficul-ties was more than on item discrimination powers
