Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; yenilenen 6. ve 7. sınıf sosyal bilgiler öğretim programındaki ölçme-değerlendirme tekniklerinin kullanılma sıklığını ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırma, betimsel bir çalışma olup tarama modeline dayalıdır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS programı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarında, öğretmenlerin, geleneksel ölçme ve değerlendirme tekniklerini alternatif ölçme ve değerlendirme tekniklerine kıyasla daha fazla kullandıkları anlaşılmıştır.

The main purpose of this study is to discover how often measurement and assessment techniques are used in renovated 6th and 7th social studies program. The study is a descriptive one and it is based on the model of survey. The questionnaire was used as data collection tool. SPSS Program was used in data analysis. At the result of the study, it was understood that teachers have used traditional measurement and assessment techniques more than alternative measurement and assessment techniques.
