Son 20 yýl içinde bilgi ve iletiþim teknolojilerinde meydana gelen hýzlý deðiþim ve geliþim ile bilgiye atfedilen önemin artmasý ve bilginin en önemli stratejik kaynak olarak görülmesi, çok karmaþýk, rekabetçi çevre þartlarýnda ayakta kalmaya çalýþan örgütleri etkilemiþtir. Böyle bir ortamda devamlýlýklarýný sürdürmek isteyen örgütler için anahtar kavram sürekli öðrenmeye ve kendini geliþtirmeye dayanan öðrenen örgüt felsefesi olmuþtur. 1963’te Cyert ve March’ýn ilk kez dile getirmesinden sonra örgütsel öðrenme kavramý, örgütsel yönetim alanýnýn ilgi odaðý haline gelmiþtir. Günümüze kadar pek çok yazar, çeþitli kitap ve makalelerde terimin anlamý ve önemi üzerinde durmasýna raðmen, kavrama popülaritesini kazandýran 1990’lý yýllardan sonra Peter M. Senge olmuþtur. THE ROLE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES (ICT) IN ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING OF SCHOOLS

In the last two decades, the rapid changes and developments that occurred in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the importance attributed to knowledge, and the fact that knowledge is seen as the most important strategic asset, have effected the organizations that try to survive in the competitive and complex conditions of the environment. For organizations that try to survive in such environments, the key concept based on continuous learning and self-development has been organizational learning philosophy. After the first mentioning by Cyert and March in 1963, organizational learning concept has been the main focus of interest of the organizational management field.
