Araştırmanın amacı, Başarı Odaklı Motivasyon (BOM) Ölçeği’ni geliştirmektir. Araştırmada tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Taslak ölçek, 827 deneğe uygulanmıştır. Uygulama, Atatürk, Cumhuriyet, Fırat, Muş Alparslan ve Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitelerinde yapılmıştır. Dört faktörlü bir yapı (Dış etkiler, iç etkiler, hedef büyütme ve öz-bilinç) ortaya çıkmıştır. Ölçeğin KMO değeri 0.911, Bartlett testi değeri 7361.928 (Sd=595, P<.05)’dir. Faktör analizi sonucunda toplam varyansın yüzde 37.910’unu karşıladığı görülmektedir. Madde toplam korelasyonları 0.36 ile 0.58 arasında değişmiştir. Çalışmada, 49 veri çiftlemesi yapılmış ve test tekrar test korelasyonu 0.977 (p<0.01) bulunmuştur. İki yarı puanları arasındaki korelasyon 0.895 (p<0.01) bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alpha katsayısı 0.896 (35 madde) bulunmuştur. Başarı Odaklı Motivasyon Ölçeği, eğitim fakültelerinde kullanılabilir.

This paper aims to develop a scale of achievement focused motivation (AFM). Survey method is used in the research. Outline scale applied 827 students. Atatürk University(Erzurum), Cumhuriyet University (Sivas), Firat University (Elazyg), Mu? Alparslan University (Mu?) ve Yüzüncü Yyl University (Van) are applied the scale. 4-factored structure (External effects, internal effects, growth of aim and self-conscious) is revealed in the scale. KMO value of AFM scale is 0.911 and the value of Barlett test is 7361.928 (Sd=595, P<.05). It is seen that after factor analysis, the scale provides 37.910% of total variance. In the analyses results of AFM scale, item-total correlations changed between 0.36 and 0.58. In the study, 49 data-paired are applied and it was found out that test-retest correlation was 0.977 (p<0.01). Correlation coefficient between two halves points was 0.895(p<0.01).
