Çalışma Ege Bölgesinin, Aydın, İzmir, Muğla ve Denizli illerinde yaşayan Köy Enstitüleri mezunlarıyla (n=50) yapılan görüşmeler kapsamında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiştir. Dört açık uçlu sorudan oluşan form ile görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamına aktarılmış ve satır satır okunmuştur. İki ayrı araştırmacı tarafından değerlendirilen çalışmanın güvenirlik katsayısı, birinci soru için %72,32; ikinci soru için %69,45; üçüncü soru için %78,34; dördüncü soru için ise %77,69 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bu aşamada kodlar oluşturulmuş, birbiri ile ilgili kodlar bir araya getirilerek temalar belirlenmiştir. Farklı becerilere sahip olma ve köyü kalkındırma kodları bir araya getirilerek “köye ilişkin yeterlilikler” temasına; uygulamalı eğitim yaptırma ve şimdiki öğretmenlerin değerlendirilmesi kodları bir araya getirilerek “eğitim öğretim sürecine ilişkin yeterlilikler” temasına ulaşılmıştır.

The study was performed via appointments with village institute graduates (n=50) living in the Aegean Region, including Aydin, Izmir, Mugla and Denizli. The data was obtained through semi-structured appointment forms developed by researchers, in which there existed four open-ended questions. As for the mutual interrogations, they lasted for nearly 40 minutes and recorded by a camera. Then the data which was obtained were conveyed into computers and read line by line. The co-efficient for the credibility of the first question was 72.32% and 69.45% of the second question while it was 78.34% for the third question and 77.69% was the fourth question. In addition, several codes were formed to bring together in the search of relevant themes. By bringing together the codes of “having distinct skills” and “development of the village”, we have reached the theme of “proficiencies in the village” and by bringing together the codes of “practical training” and “evaluation of current teachers”, the theme of “proficiency in education and training process” was reached. Besides, evaluations and quotations concerning themes and codes determined in the analysis were dramatically depicted in the study.
